Stephen Beard – Chief Executive Officer

BCom (Accy), GradDipCA

Steve started his career in public accounting working for several regional Chartered Accounting firms.  Involved predominantly in providing business services, he learned very early on in his career the value of, and success of customer service focused businesses.  Steve went on to prove the value of what he had learned when he moved into his own small printing business.  This business went on to win the coveted Illawarra Business of the Year.  Steve had the opportunity to move into the not-for-profit world when he sold his business to a local disability service provider, The Flagstaff Group.  Shortly after selling the business, he was appointed to the CEO of the group and has worked in various executive and consulting roles in disability and aged care for the last 16 years.  For the last 5 years he has worked with Warrigal Care in Executive roles covering finance, customer relations, human resources, IT, innovation and more recently in mergers and acquisitions.  Steve is looking forward to working with the great staff at MACI to align the organisation with the customer service priorities that the new aged care service delivery models will begin to prioritise over the coming years.
